Toxic Waste were formed in 1982 after a Crass gig (or so the story goes). Very politically engaged punk since they played during the Troubles and the violent enviroment in that area but nonetheless very passionate and extremely melodic due to the female and male vocals that harmonize and bring another layer of greatness unto the songs.
Belfast is an extraordinary anthem of rebellion against organized religion among other things and a potent voice of resistance for the opressed. A beautiful and very solid anarcho-punk record.
